Jessica Hansen

Preschool Teacher

Jessica is a dedicated and passionate preschool teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Boise State University. With a diverse background in education, she has previously taught 5th grade, 1st grade, and kindergarten. Her journey into early childhood education began at Hillview Preschool, where she initially enrolled her own children. Over time, she became deeply involved with the school community, serving as a board member and substitute teacher. Now teaching 3, 4, and 5 year olds, she is committed to creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports each child’s growth. Outside the classroom, she is a proud mother of three energetic boys and spends much of her time shuttling them to Boy Scouts, rock climbing, and various sports. In her free moments, she enjoys reading, hiking, and relaxing at home with her two dogs, two cats, and a bearded dragon—all of which inspire her playful and curious approach to teaching. She is excited to embark on this learning adventure with you and your little ones.

Julia Robison

Preschool Teacher

Julia joined The Cooperative Preschool as a parent of a preschooler in 2023, and then became a teacher in the toddler program in spring 2024. She is looking forward to stepping into the role of preschool teacher in the fall of 2026. Before becoming a parent, Julia was an elementary school teacher for ten years, with most of her experience in kindergarten and first grade (including two years teaching first grade in Thailand). She has a BA in Elementary Education and an MA in Literacy, both from Boise State University. She also supervised tutors in the Literacy Lab at Boise State from 2017 to 2020. Since her son was born, Julia has also been a part-time private reading and writing tutor. In her past life, she played the harp professionally, traveled around southeast Asia, and once spent a summer living in a tent in California. Outside of the classroom, you can find Julia and her husband and son cooking in the kitchen together, taking care of their flock of chickens, and digging in the garden.

Amy Cortabitarte

She is the mom of two amazing kids and her husband works as a junior high teacher in the Boise School District. She has a Masters Degree in Teaching from Boise State University and previously worked in the Boise School District. Those that know her well would call her a “serial crafter” that enjoys trying new creative outlets. She also loves reading, playing pickleball, paddleboarding, and playing board games.

Kylie Allbritten

Toddler Teacher

Kylie has a BA in Elementary Education and MA in Curriculum & Instruction from Boise State University. She has eight years of experience teaching in Idaho public schools, primarily as a middle school math teacher. Kylie served as a board member of The Cooperative Preschool while her daughter attended the Yellow Block, and their combined experience made her eager to join the school as a teacher. In her free time, Kylie enjoys reading, baking, listening to albums from start to finish, and chasing her two daughters around outside.

Stacy Adams

Director

Stacy has been a parent, board member, teacher, and now serves as the Director at The Cooperative Preschool. Stacy taught in the elementary classroom for 11 years before becoming a mom. Stacy started teaching in the toddler program in 2016 and has taught both 1-2s and 2-3s classes, and became the director in 2021. When she’s not at school, Stacy loves to read, rock climb, play board games, and spend time with her husband and two children (mainly by driving them around!).
