National Association for the Education of Young Children Accreditation

The Cooperative Preschool received accreditation status from the NAEYC in 1998 and has maintained accreditation since that time. This is a long and arduous process that involves the entire school community. Accreditation assures that schools maintain a certain level of quality in all areas of the school - from assessment to leadership. The school had its 5th accreditation visit in October 2023 and on October 27, 2023 we received our accreditation renewal with an overall average score across 10 domains of 98%. We are proud of our commitment to best practice in the field of early childhood education.
 
We are a part of a small group of only 8 programs in Boise that are currently accredited.
