Job Opening

Teachers at The Cooperative Preschool work in a friendly, supportive, collaborative environment. There is ample prep time, assessment time, time to

attend events, professional development hours, and collaboration time included in the teaching salary.

Position Currently Open: Toddler Teacher to teach:

 1-2's class – Monday 9:30-11:00 (Parent toddler class with up to 9 toddlers)

 2-3’s class – Tuesday and Wednesday 9:30-11:00 (Parent toddler class with up to 9 toddlers)

(Teachers are expected to be at school at least 30 minutes before the start of class - part of their paid prep time)


Position Requirements

 Bachelor degree in related field or working towards a degree in a related field

 Boise City Child Care License, Current CPR/FA (these can be obtained upon hire and are paid for by the school)

 Establish and maintain effective working relationships with teaching team members, director and families

 Computer literate

 Present professional demeanor

 Able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form

 Able to maintain confidentiality of work related to students and families

 Strong organizational skills

 Work effectively in a collaborative team environment

 Detail oriented while being able to use time effectively
